A little background on Bicester:

Bicester sits prettily in the North Oxfordshire countryside, with its distinctive honey coloured stone buildings, picturesque villages and lovely scenery. There are plans to make Bicester into a "garden city" to accomodate the influx of commuters looking to live outside Greater London.

The earliest surviving buildings of the town are the medieval church of St Edburg, built in the 12th Century; the vicarage of 1500 and two post-dissolution houses in the former Priory Precinct, both built from building materials left over from earlier medieval materials.
